Sentrillion is seeking a talented Program Manager in Reston VA.The Program Manager is responsible for the execution of one or more simultaneous projects under development.

  • Plan, organize, and direct one large or several small to medium sized projects; maintaining strict adherence to Statement of Work (SOW) deliverables.
  • Oversee and mentor individual project managers.
  • Ultimately responsible for planning and coordinating staff, managing costs, quality, technical compliance and schedule.
  • Accurately track and manage all direct labor, subcontract agreements, ODC
  • Prepare annual budgets
  • Develop and implement recovery plans for off-schedule and unanticipated eventualities.
  • Coordinate with customers to provide necessary program status and obtain customer feedback.
  • Recommend new processes where needed to improve quality or on-time delivery.
  • Provide feedback regarding employee performance on a program team to the functional manager for documentation.


  • A Bachelor's degree is required 4; years of experience may be substituted for the degree.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in managing projects. Understanding of project life cycles and budgeting.
  • At least five years of management experience
  • Previous program management experience required.
  • Experience as a second-level manager a plus.
  • Experience in more than one of the following disciplines a plus: Engineering, Operations, and/or Product Development.
  • Intimate knowledge of program management tools and procedures.
  • Intimate knowledge of people management skills, particularly influence management and conflict resolution.
  • General knowledge of IT product development.
  • General knowledge of operations, including scheduling, procurement, manufacturing, test engineering, and quality systems.
  • General knowledge of finance, including ability to read and understand financial data.
  • General knowledge of marketing, pricing, marketing communication, and project launch.


  • Ability to understand, track, drill-down, and question activities and issues in all functional areas and make sound business decisions based upon that data.
  • Strong influence-management, negotiation, leadership and assertiveness skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills.
  • Able to travel 25 to 35%
  • Ability to work effectively using program management and other tools on a personal computer for long periods of time.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances.
  • Ability to work designated schedule, as well as maintain attendance and punctuality.
